Event Design – Mädchen House Vol. 2 "Leave Some Love" This project highlights the creative direction and execution of Mädchen House Vol. 2: Leave Some Love, held at Chand Rooftop, South Jakarta. As a thematic continuation of Mädchen Nights, this second installment evolved the narrative from a night celebrating femininity to a heartfelt experience centered on love and emotional connection. The event title, Leave Some Love, reflects the intention to leave a lasting impression a continuation of the energy, intimacy, and atmosphere introduced in Volume 1.

My Approach

I designed the event theme with a soft pink color palette, symbolizing love, warmth, and emotional resonance. The creative direction included a heart icon as the central motif, used across all visual elements to reinforce the theme. My approach was holistic ensuring every design component, from lighting and screen visuals to printed materials and social media content, worked together to create a cohesive and memorable brand experience.

Vision and Innovation

The vision was to build upon the identity established in the first event while introducing a new emotional layer. Leave Some Love invited guests to connect more deeply with the experience. Through pink-toned lighting, romantic motion graphics, and intimate visual cues, the event space was transformed into an environment that felt both celebratory and sentimental. Innovation came from blending a club atmosphere with thoughtful design storytelling uncommon in typical nightlife events.

Identifying Unique Challenges

A key challenge was adapting the emotional tone of "love" into a nightlife context without compromising the energy of the event. Another challenge was visually evolving the Mädchen House brand while maintaining its signature style and audience appeal.

Resolving Complex Problems

To achieve visual consistency and emotional depth, I developed a creative system based on color theory, symbolic design, and audience psychology. The heart motif was applied strategically across visuals, while lighting design and screen backdrops were curated to reflect warmth and connection. All materials including tickets, flyers, table price list posters, and Instagram promotional content were designed using a unified visual language. Event photography was also directed to capture intimate crowd moments, enhancing the emotional narrative.

Client-Focused Process

This project was developed closely with the Mädchen House team to ensure the theme, messaging, and visual direction aligned with brand goals and audience expectations. Feedback loops and collaborative decision-making played an essential role in refining creative elements and ensuring brand continuity from Volume 1 to Volume 2.

Meeting Industry Needs

Leave Some Love positioned Mädchen House not just as an event organizer, but as a creative brand capable of emotional storytelling through design. The success of this event reinforced the importance of cohesive visual identity in nightlife experiences and demonstrated the role of creative direction in building long-term audience engagement.
